Preface
For this publication, recordings of the taiga forest have been collected over a period of 21 years. The album contains unique, rare and very hard-to-find soundscapes from the depths of the taiga forest. The best recordings have been obtained when the recording device is hidden in the terrain and the recorders have left the place. In this way, recordings of rare wild animals, such as badgers and beavers, have been obtained from nature. All recordings of the piece are previously unpublished. Audio recordings of the Taiga foreat can also be found elsewhere in the Nature resounds series, as well as in Call of Lapland - North of the Arctic Circle, Lyrical Pictures of nature and Savo luonto series.
Product information
The release contains two CDs (CD 1, 51 tracks and CD 2, 18 tracks), which include e.g. seven species of owls, five species of hawks, nine species of mammals, three species of crossbills and two species of eagles.
